The JCI Western Regional Conference Comes to Manitoba!!

JCI Winnipeg is excited to host JCI Canada’s Western Regional Conference: June 14-16, 2013. Join us in celebration of our 90th anniversary! While we reflect on our past and look to the future, we are committed to executing a productive and memorable conference for all delegates and attendees.

Our kick-off event on Friday, June 14th will be the Amazing Leadership Race. The race will send you and your team travelling through time, throughout downtown Winnipeg. This team-building activity will strengthen your team management, communication, and leadership abilities, while providing with a fun introduction to the great city of Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Friday finishes off with a true Manitoban Experience: a 90’s Social!  Themed on Back to the Future, be sure to wear your best 1990’s attire and prepare to dance the night away with Marty McFly, while rocking out to your favourite songs from the decade. 

Be sure not to miss our main conference events on Saturday June 15th. We have a jam-packed agenda, commencing with the Effective Speaking Competition. Watch and listen as our skilled JCI speakers compete for a chance to represent their JCI Chapter at NATCON in Quebec City.

Following Effective Speaking, JCI Winnipeg will host our second annual Spring into Business event, featuring speakers on the topics of business innovation and career planning.  The formal component will be followed by a business wear fashion show and business exposé. 

On Saturday evening, we will be putting on the Ritz with a 1920’s Gala Dinner and Dance to commemorate our history as Canada’s oldest JCI chapter.  Come out and enjoy the best local cuisine that Manitoba has to offer.  We will also be showcasing a historical presentation and honouring our past.

Our final wrap-up event for our conference will be a Roundtable Breakfast Club on Sunday, June 16th.  Enjoy an amazing brunch and engage in the opportunity to discuss important chapter issues. We will also hear from a Keynote Address, focusing on how to improve our communities from a grassroots approach.
